Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran condemned a US attack on three Iranian tankers in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic said in a statement that these actions are a continuation of the "U.S. military aggression" against Iran and are part of the United States' naval blockade and economic warfare against Iran, and constitute a clear violation of Article 2, paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter. The statement said that responsibility for Washington's actions, including the continuation of the naval blockade and economic warfare and the attacks on Iran's commercial ships, will lie with "the United States and its allies and partners."
