According to Entekhab, the Executive Vice President commented on some past selection procedures: sometimes individuals were asked questions that bore no relation to their professional qualifications; for example, details of certain religious practices that seemed neither consistent with the law nor with the conditions of today’s society. We have tried to have these procedures reformed and for the selection process to be conducted within the framework of the law and with attention to individuals’ actual qualifications.
