Kazem Gharibabadi

Kazem Gharibabadi, deputy to Abbas Araghchi, responding to the U.S. Department of Commerce's decision to upgrade the export status of the United Arab Emirates, characterized this measure as "Washington's formal admission and Abu Dhabi's document of shame" regarding the country's role in U.S. military operations against the Islamic Republic. He stated that the UAE's support for U.S. military operations against the Islamic Republic carries direct international responsibility and legal consequences for the country, and that the UAE must be held accountable for this action.

• The U.S. Department of Commerce had previously announced that due to the United Arab Emirates' support for U.S. military operations against the Islamic Republic, export control regulations for the country have been facilitated and its export status has been upgraded.
