Fars (Telegram) reports, Assistant to the Governor of the Central Bank for Foreign Exchange Affairs: Limiting oil exports does not mean “stopping the sale of oil or collecting proceeds from previous sales.. even if restrictions are imposed on exports and sales, ‘proceeds from past sales’ can still enter the foreign exchange supply cycle.. Some time ago the Governor of the Central Bank said ‘we do not export oil and this is a reality,’ that the United States has frozen our reserves and we do not have access to them.. but the Ministry of Petroleum’s statistics show that since the beginning of the year this ministry has provided the Central Bank with $9 billion in oil revenues.”
