Biosecurity Led to 62,000 Tons of Shrimp Production in the Country

The Director General of the Office of Aquatic Animal Health, Prevention and Disease Management at the Veterinary Organization of Iran said that, with the implementation of biosecurity programs and the restructuring of shrimp farms, disease outbreaks in the shrimp industry decreased by 37 percent, and production of this product increased by about 40 percent to 62,000 tons.
