Internet outage

Mohammad Hossein Sheikhi, head of the Institute for Communications and Information Technology Research, states that the Internet is a globally-spanning network designed and developed for exchanging information between various computer systems and devices with embedded computer systems, based on remote communications infrastructure. Furthermore, the Internet has been designed and developed in such a way that vital services required for connectivity (such as coordination and addressing) for keeping different geographical regions of the world connected to the Internet (as global information infrastructure) are distributed hierarchically, and in practice, national information networks cannot remain active within their own geographical scope independently from such vital services and without receiving them.
