Parliament approved internal regulations amendment for virtual sessions

The spokesperson for the Parliament Presiding Board rejected claims that Parliament had been shut down, stressing that in recent weeks committees, specialized meetings, and lawmakers’ oversight activities have continued. He also announced Parliament’s plan to amend its internal rules to make it possible to hold sessions even virtually in special circumstances.
