Congressional Research Service reports 81 U.S. aircraft destroyed since start of war with Iran

What happened: The U.S. Congressional Research Service (CRS) reported that 81 U.S. aircraft, helicopters and drones have been lost since the start of the war with Iran. The report lists losses as 12 F-15 fighters, one F-35, and two A-10 aircraft. It also lists seven KC-135 Stratotanker refueling aircraft and one E-3 Sentry airborne warning and control aircraft among the losses.
