During this call, cooperative relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States and ways to strengthen them across several sectors were reviewed, and the two sides exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues. The call also covered current developments in the region, including talks between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and emphasis was placed on the importance of maritime navigation security and sea routes, as well as support for measures that contribute to achieving security and stability in the region.
