Installation of 50,000 solar systems in villages and equipping 12,000 schools with power plants

Over 50,000 small-scale solar systems have been installed in villages across the country in cooperation with supporting institutions, according to Sigharwadi, Deputy Director of Investment and Development at SABA, with residents benefiting from the electricity produced. In a new phase beginning next week, 12,000 schools will be equipped with 5-kilowatt solar power plants by presidential order and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education. All revenues generated from these power plants will be directly allocated to the schools' own educational equipment and needs.
