Organization of Azadi, Enghelab and Damavand axis begins; replacement of new concrete separators on Azadi route

The organization and development of three major axes in Tehran—Azadi, Engelab and Damavand—will begin soon, with plans to replace old concrete dividers with new ones along the Azadi route to improve traffic flow and the urban landscape.

• The new dividers will be installed as part of a comprehensive urban development plan for these main thoroughfares
• The project aims to enhance traffic management and safety on these heavily-used routes
• The replacement of aging infrastructure is expected to improve the aesthetic appearance of the axes. The timing and detailed implementation schedule for the Azadi axis renovation differs from the previously announced plans for the Engelab and Damavand axes, with prioritization being determined based on traffic studies and municipal capacity.
