Defense nominee Meets Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander to discuss industrial support

What happened: Engineer Mehrdad Akhlaghi, the nominee for the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, met with Major General Vahidi, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), to discuss the role of the defense industry in supporting the armed forces, sustaining production of equipment and weapons under defensive conditions, and expanding cooperation and synergy between the ministry’s industrial organizations and the IRGC.
