Regional countries have concluded that the containment and marginalization of Iran has not only failed, but has led to a catastrophic war; a war that revealed both the unreliability of the American security umbrella and its surprisingly severe limitations. Arab countries, instead of further insistence on sidelining Iran, are drafting a new agenda: pursuing mutual economic interdependence with Iran while simultaneously bringing Tehran into a new security architecture led by regional countries.
