UK Foreign Office Summons Iranian Embassy Chargé d'Affaires in London

The British Foreign Office announced that it has summoned the chargé d'affaires of the Islamic Republic's embassy in London following an attack on Pouria Zeraati, a reporter for Iran International. The British government added that this action was taken after two Romanian citizens were convicted for their role in the attack on Pouria Zeraati in 2024. According to a statement from the British Foreign Office, the judge in the case concluded that the attack was carried out in the interests of and on behalf of the Islamic Republic government. The British Foreign Office added that this case falls within a long-standing pattern of hostile activities by Islamic Republic intelligence agencies on British soil.
