Indonesia urged Iran and US to end conflict

Indonesia’s request to Iran and the United States to end the conflict immediately Indonesia has asked Iran and the United States to adhere to the memorandum of understanding signed last month and to immediately halt hostilities in the Strait of Hormuz. Indonesian Foreign Minister Sugiono stressed that restoring stability to the Persian Gulf region is a matter of direct national interest. He also said Indonesia’s position on developments in the U.S.-Iran conflict will remain unchanged. Sugiono said: “Our position remains unchanged. We want the situation to become stable again, peace to be achieved, and the attacks to stop immediately.”
