Cyberattack targets French blood banks following series of European store attacks

The French Blood Service reported that cooling equipment at three of its centers was hacked, the organization said. The service, which supplies blood and blood products to more than 1,900 hospitals, said it was targeted after similar cyberattacks on grocery store refrigeration systems in several European countries.

Media reports in recent days said related attacks on store refrigerators were reported in Sweden, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Romania and the United Kingdom, and led to widespread food spoilage and disposal. (Source: IRIB news)
