Tehran Stock Index Falls 132,000 Points on Monday

The main Tehran Stock Exchange index fell by 132,000 points on the first trading day of the week, returning to around 8.2 million points. The equal-weighted index was down about 17,000 points. Reports say retail trading value was close to 10 trillion rials, net outflows by individual investors were about 2,500 trillion rials, and the value of sell orders was about 13.6 trillion rials—roughly 2.5 times the value of buy orders at about 5.3 trillion rials.
