Videos posted on social media show that Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, and Masoud Pezeshkian, the President, were confronted on Monday, July 6th, during the funeral ceremony of Ali Khamenei, the former leader of the Islamic Republic, in Qom, with chants of "dishonorable" and "death to compromisers" by a group of hardline government supporters. According to these videos, Araghchi and Pezeshkian left the venue after these chants were raised.
