Police/local authorities: body of missing woman found in a well

What happened: Police in Tehran say the body of a 60-year-old woman who had been missing for about a year and a half was recovered from a well. Attribution and details: The head of Tehran's Criminal Investigation Police told ISNA (Telegram) that the woman's husband went to police and confessed to killing her and disposing of her body in a well at a house in the village of Asiabar, Siahkal. Police dispatched a team to Siahkal, cleared debris, and retrieved the body from the well. The suspect is in custody under temporary detention and has been handed over to the judicial authority.
