Aram Hossami, a political science professor, stated: "I view the military movements of the United States and the Islamic Republic more as military posturing from both sides. If a military solution were intended, it would have been implemented after the ceasefire ended until now. Currently, both sides are seeking to increase their negotiating power to reach a political solution." He added: "Regional countries, due to the inability to predict stability, security, and even maritime insurance conditions, have turned toward diplomatic solutions, as they have concluded that a military solution alone is not sufficient."
