Hassan Ameli, the Friday prayer imam of Ardabil, said in his sermons during this city's Friday prayers: "The blood of our leader must be avenged and we will never miss an opportunity for revenge. However, at the same time, it should be noted that even if a thousand Trumps are killed in the path of retaliation, it will not be the price of our leader's blood. Alongside revenge, we must ask God to eliminate the ideology of Trumpism from the face of the earth." He continued: "Every Iranian, regardless of their beliefs, supports the protection of the Strait of Hormuz and the measures of the armed forces and government, and there is complete unity on this matter."
