Foreign Policy: Gulf region not ready to resume war with Iran
Manshur brief
Foreign Policy reports that the Trump administration’s assessment is that the region cannot withstand another round of military conflict. Foreign Policy also says that since the war began on February 28, Iranian missiles and drones have damaged refineries, liquefied natural gas facilities, and export terminals across the Gulf. Ansarallah in Yemen has opened a second front in the Red Sea. Rebuilding much of the damaged infrastructure will take years. The outlet adds that the cost of these losses will fall primarily on energy importers in Asia, Europe, and developing countries; (source: Khabar Fori).
