Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's Funeral Ceremony Began in Qom

Former Islamic Republic Leader's Funeral Ceremony Begins in Qom Following the official funeral ceremony of the former Islamic Republic leader in Tehran and the transfer of his coffin and several family members to Qom, the funeral procession of Ali Khamenei has formally commenced in this central province city. As reported, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli conducted the prayer ceremony at Jamkaran Mosque in Qom, after which the funeral procession began among thousands of supporters of the former Islamic Republic leader. Following the completion of this ceremony, a similar ceremony is scheduled to be held in the city of Najaf with the transfer of the bodies to Iraq, and finally the burial ceremony will take place on Thursday in the city of Mashhad.
