Yemeni Defense Minister Taher al-Aqili accused Iran and Houthis of airspace violation

Taher al-Aqili, Yemen’s defense minister, on Monday, 22 Tir 1405, accused the Islamic Republic and the Houthi militias of a blatant violation of the country’s airspace and national sovereignty. He warned that diplomatic efforts to stop these unauthorized flights had been ineffective. Al-Aqili stressed that the Yemeni armed forces reserve the right to respond by all available means and will answer these actions decisively. Meanwhile, state media of the Islamic Republic of Iran published footage purporting to show a Mahan Air aircraft landing at Hodeidah Airport in Yemen. The video includes chants being shouted, apparently by the Houthi militias affiliated with the Islamic Republic. 2
