Container ship damaged and catches fire east of Oman

A container ship sustained damage and caught fire off the eastern coast of Oman. The British Maritime Trade Operations organization reported receiving notification of an incident occurring nine nautical miles east of Oman. According to military officials, the rear section of a container ship was damaged, and this damage caused a fire to break out inside the vessel. Authorities are investigating the incident. The organization has advised ships to navigate through the area with caution and to report any suspicious activity.
