24 million trips recorded with public transportation during farewell and funeral ceremonies of the revolution's martyred leader. Deputy Director of Transportation and Traffic at Tehran Municipality: For the first time in the history of Tehran Metro, services were provided on a 24-hour basis, and the number of trips made by metro during these three days exceeded 14 million. 14 million, 638 thousand and 833 passengers used the metro during these 3 days, and a total of 23 million and 715 thousand passengers were transported by public transportation fleet.
