CENTCOM announced the end of its Tuesday night attacks

The United States announced the end of its Tuesday night attacks. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) said that at 10 p.m. Eastern Time (early morning of July 14), another round of strikes against Iran was completed. CENTCOM claimed that dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s coastal areas were hit by U.S. forces. CENTCOM said that in these seven-hour strikes, American fighter jets, drones, and Navy vessels used precision-guided munitions to attack the Islamic Republic’s missile and drone sites, as well as the country’s naval assets and coastal defense systems. According to the U.S. military’s claim, the purpose of the strikes was to further weaken Iran’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and civilian crews.
