Special Task Force Formed in US to Combat Information Leaks

Establishment of a special task force against information leaks in the U.S. Reuters: The U.S. Department of Justice and the Pentagon have formed a joint task force to identify and prosecute what Pete Hegseth, the country’s Secretary of War, described as the “unauthorized disclosure of sensitive information to news media.” Hegseth said: I have delegated the authority to issue the order to the Office of the General Counsel of the Department of War, and have empowered this office to request and receive, across the department, all information, records, and support related to investigations into media leaks.
