Officials Honor Province’s Elite Veterans and Fallen Scholars on National Elites Day

An honor ceremony for elite veterans and martyred scholars was held with officials, elites, academics and families of the deceased in attendance, DefensaPresa reported. Economia Online (Telegram) reported that the deputy head of the National Elites Foundation said returning Iranian elites abroad would be allowed to import one car with zero tariff; would be eligible for Innovation Fund support to form knowledge-based companies; and would receive priority for housing benefits under the Production Leap in Housing law for buying or building homes. The deputy also said elites may once import scientific, research, laboratory or professional equipment for noncommercial use and be exempted from customs duties.
