Foreign Minister discusses agreement with Omani counterpart

Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi traveled to Muscat on Saturday morning heading a political-legal delegation, where he met and held talks with Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr al-Busaidi. Araghchi and al-Busaidi exchanged views on the implementation of Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding. The two officials also discussed appropriate mechanisms for safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, in accordance with Article 5 of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
