In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. In times past in the political arena, men had emerged who, under the banner of freedom, would justify any interpretation whatsoever—even without scientific method and unconventional—to achieve their desires and whims, and called it "respect for different readings of religion." That time has passed. The advice of well-wishers led nowhere, and politicians preferred ballot box opinions over the correct preservation and promotion of Sharia, and what should not have happened, happened. Now matters have reached a point where, if until yesterday they trampled upon Sharia under the pretext of interpretive differences, today they formally deny the Quranic text itself before their audience's very eyes. As if the Quran-readers in this country have gone blind and the Quran-understanders lack understanding, so that some individuals this time assume the Quranic verses themselves as non-existent; they, while divine verses are before our eyes, say that fundamentally the logic of the Quran is peace and the statement of His Eminence the Imam (may God's mercy be upon him)….
