Two tankers labeled 'offending' by IRGC Navy stopped in southern Strait of Hormuz after losing navigation systems

Two tankers, which the Navy public relations office of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described as "offending," were involved in incidents and stopped in the southern waters of the Strait of Hormuz; one incident occurred in the eastern part of the strait and the other in the western part. According to the reports, both vessels had turned off their navigation and positioning systems, entered a zone described as "unsafe/unsanctioned" after multiple radio warnings, and then suffered incidents that left them stopped.
