Funeral Ceremony in Tehran Ends Before 17:00; Bodies Transferred to Qom
The funeral ceremony in Tehran will conclude before 5 p.m., with the transfer of the sacred remains to the city of Qom before the evening call to prayer. The massive turnout of the people and the largest funeral procession in history proceeded in perfect order under the direction of Hassan Zadeh, the head of the ceremony organizing committee: "I sincerely thank all the noble people of Iran; the people's magnificent participation and presence made the management of this great ceremony possible in the best way possible. We hope our dear people are fully satisfied with the facilities provided for holding the ceremony. It has been planned that the funeral ceremony in Tehran will conclude before 5 p.m., and the sacred remains will be transferred to the city of Qom before the evening call to prayer."
