Pursuant to a Cabinet decision, Sunday, July 5th was declared an official holiday to enable people across the country to participate in the farewell and funeral procession of a martyred leader. To facilitate this widespread attendance, government agencies and their subsidiary companies, including gas, water, and wastewater corporations in various provinces, the national transportation fleet, and Basij forces mobilized their facilities and resources. The Judiciary also established a central headquarters to receive and host mourners and pilgrims attending the ceremony.
