The spokesman for the country's election headquarters rejected circulating speculations about the timing of municipal elections, emphasizing that information regarding the timing, procedures, and election programs will be announced exclusively through the country's election headquarters. Mohsen Islami, regarding the timing of the seventh round of municipal elections and the mid-term elections of the Assembly of Experts and the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated: Pursuant to Article 44 of the Law on Islamic Municipal Elections of the country, the Ministry of Interior, under the supervision of the central election executive committee, is responsible for conducting the elections.
