"I'm fine, I'll call you!" On August 24, 2020, Jamshid Sharmahd, an Iranian citizen with German and American residency, entered Dubai airport. A few days later, his last message was sent from his mobile phone to his family: "I'm fine, I'll call you." But that call never came. The Islamic Republic later confirmed that it had abducted him in an intelligence operation and transferred him to Iran. Drawing on documents, digital data, accounts from his family, lawyers, and international authorities, this documentary traces Jamshid Sharmahd's path from the moment of his disappearance to his death in an Islamic Republic prison, and addresses questions that remain unanswered.
