Three sources informed Reuters that the crew of a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier ship from Qatar, which was struck by an unidentified projectile in the Strait of Hormuz, has been evacuated from the vessel. According to these sources, the ship sent a distress signal after being hit on the port side of the hull. These sources added that the ship sustained significant damage, but its final condition remains unclear.
