Metro Emergency Response: Tehran's New Crisis Management Solution

Head of Tehran's Crisis Management Organization: "Metro emergency aid" has not been defined anywhere in the country until now. For the first time during the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the revolution, six patients and injured persons were transferred to medical centers via the metro. Connecting metro lines to medical centers, particularly Imam Khomeini Hospital Complex, is on the agenda with the aim of expediting the transfer of accident and crisis victims. In the design of new metro lines including lines 8, 9, 10, and 11, passive defense studies have been considered as a requirement. Subject to securing financial resources, this project will be operational by the end of the year.
