New Directives on Bank Account Blocking

The Head of the Tehran Provincial Judiciary, in an directive addressed to judicial authorities including the Tehran prosecutor and the Social Security and Tax Affairs organizations, stressed the proper enforcement of laws in the process of collecting adjudicated debts (final liabilities) and called for ending the practice of blocking all bank accounts of individuals and businesses when a debt is established.
